Materials you will need:

2 colors of yarn (Excellent way to use up leftover yarn)

Size "I" crochet hook

This project is created with 4 small squares. Start with a chain 4 chains longer than the measurement you want for your block, I started with 12 chains.

Then turn and double crochet back in your chain.

Repeat this row as many times as it takes to get a basically square block.

Make 2 blocks from each color and then slipstitch them together.

Crochet 2 rows around the entire project and you are done. You now have a completed coaster to protect your table top from condensation from your pitcher of iced lemonade or whatever.
