Select a board about 2 feet long by an inch thick and however wide you would like.

Purchase several pegs at your local craft or lumber store.

Drill holes at even intervals along the board, the same size as the peg ends. Drill only deep enough to hold the pegs, not completely through the board.

Glue pegs in to board. Drill one hole half way through each end of the board so you can screw it to the wall and then fill hole with wooden button which you can purchase at your craft or lumber store.

You might choose to finish with varathane or some other sealant, go with the natural wood look we love or paint to match other decor.
