Gift tags that double as book marks!
Fast and simple, great for sharing with children (with supervision).
Use up those scraps of paper left from other projects.
Materials needed: paper, punch, scissors (regular or decorative) or rotary cutter, paint and sponge stamps.

I use water based children's paint or acrylic craft paint. You only need a tiny amount.

Spread freezer paper out on your working surface to protect from paint.
Cut your paper to shapes approximately 4 inches long by whatever width your scraps allow. Cut the ends of the strips with specialty scissors if you have them. Otherwise, plain old straight is just fine.
Punch a hole in a corner of each strip. Paint your choice of color to the appropriate portions of the stamps. STAMP! Allow to dry, add a scrap of ribbon and you have a great tag, that can be a gift tag or a book mark, or both!! Enjoy.
