Soft Block
Simple to make, requires fabric, thread and polyfil.
Choose your fabric. We used flannel and fleece, cutting six 5" squares. You can make them any size.
Sew four of the squares together in a strip, keeping seam allowance consistent.
Add last two squares on the side
Turn the end square and side squares toward each other, stitch.
Bring the others together the same way, gradually closing in your box.
When you stitch the last square, leave final side open, turn seams to the inside.
Stuff with polyfil, evenly and firm, but not solid. Handstitch the last seam.
You have a simple soft block, baby safe, washable, made in only a few minutes. You could do a set, using alphabet fabric, cute baby animals on the sides or even personalize.
